the Los Angeles International Association for Near-Death Studies
LA IANDS is a non-profit corporation acting in conjunction with IANDS
the International Association for Near-Death Studies.
LA IANDS provides a support/discussion group for near-death experiencers (NDErs),
out-of-body experiencers (OBErs), spiritually transformative experiencers (STErs),
and all members of the public interested in these kinds of experiences.
Whereas IANDS supports research into near-death experiences, disseminates research findings to the public,
and sponsors support/discussion groups; LA IANDS is a support/discussion group.
The primary focus of LA IANDS is in providing a safe place to help people in the LA area integrate
these life-changing experiences into the rest of their lives. We focus on sharing with,
caring for, and generally supporting one another.
We often have featured speakers who share their experiences with the group.

The Los Angeles International Association for Near-Death Studies,
October 22, 2016 from 1 to 4 pm, Presents:
Reintegrating My Life through NDEs, STEs, Pre-birth Memories and Shamanism
Marsalee Forrestar, D.C. has studied multicultural shamanism for over 20 years. Between the time of an NDE in 1968 and her
50th birthday in 1994, Marsalee progressed through distinct phases of dismembering and re-membering her life. During her
Shamanic training she experienced two more NDE's and several STE's. Now, she assists others in reclaiming missing pieces of
their Soul so they may become more power filled (power full). She has assisted others in the tradition of Shamanism in the U.S.
and Europe since 1995.
A few years ago, she discovered IANDS in San Diego, attending several meetings, speaking at a few, and attending a conference
(volunteering in the “Healing Room” the entire time). As a result, she was helped to rekindle other memories, including those of
her pre-birth and birth which has allowed her to integrate the stories of her life,
We request a donation of $10 per person, but no one will be turned away.
